Warnings and cautions of ultrasonic probe
★The ultrasonic probe is a valuable device. It must be careful in
the process of use. Avoid dropping, impact, or abrasion to
transducers.
★When installing or removing the probe, first switch off the power
and then operate it carefully.
★Avoid rapid and extreme temperature changes, as well as lengthy
exposure to direct sunlight or a strong ultraviolet light source.
★Do not use sharp objects to penetrate the acoustic lens.Once the
acoustic lens is damaged, the coupling gel is easy to enter the
interior of the probe and damage the piezoelectric element.
★Do not soak transducer in any liquid above the recommended level as
stated in the user manual for your system, please operate according
to the manufacturer's instructions, otherwise it will lead to
circuit failure or even burn out.
★Do not disinfect at high temperature, because the probe is equipped
with piezoelectric ceramics, high temperature will weaken the
effect.
★Before use, carefully check whether the housing and cable are
damaged, so as to prevent the probe from high voltage injury.
★After the probe is used, the residual coupling gel on the probe
must be wiped clean to prevent rats or other animals from gnawing
the lens.
Storage for Transport of ultrasonic transducer
1. Make sure that the transducer is clean and disinfected before
placing it in the case to avoid contaminating the foam that lines
the carrying case.
2. Place the transducer in the case carefully to prevent kinking of
the cable.
3. Before closing the lid, make sure no part of the transducer is
protruding from the case.
4. Wrap the case in plastic material containing sealed-air pockets
(such as Bubble Wrap material), and pack the wrapped case in a
cardboard carton.

protocol and using the right probe disinfectant, you can extend the
life of your ultrasound probes. We put together some simple tips to
keep in mind and help ensure your probes are being handled with
care.
Ultrasound Transducer Care Tips
Cleaning: Do not allow prolonged exposure to excessive moisture or
immersion of transducers in any liquid above the recommended level
as stated in the user manual. Do not soak transducers in any liquid
for longer than the recommended period according to the chemical
manufacturer instructions for use. Always refer to the
manufacturers user manual or guide for cleaning and disinfecting
probes. DO NOT use abrasive paper products when cleaning or wiping
probes.
Storage: Always store transducers in the holders located on the
side of your system (for console systems). Hang probe cables
appropriately on the system cable drapes. Probes can be stored on a
securely mounted wall rack. Make sure your transducer holders are
clean before storing.
